[Question]: We are getting error: Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token 'export' and Uncaught SyntaxError: await is only valid in async functions and the top level bodies of modules

Configuration:

• Web browser and its version: Edge 124.0.2478.51
• Operating system and its version: Windows 11

We are trying to use PDF.JS for our services for our PDF viewing function, due to implementation restriction we uses following way to load pdf.js

<script src="../../Reporting/pdfjs/build/pdf.mjs" type="module"></script>
<script src="../../Reporting/pdfjs/web/viewer.mjs" type="module"></script>

and we are limited to use a plain .js file (not a module) to load pdf report as follows (we are using iframe to embbed it in our webpage)

var openPromise = iframeElement.contentWindow.PDFViewerApplication.open({data: pdfReport});

When we trying the latest (we tried directly build from main branch), we get following error:

Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token 'export' (/Reporting/pdfjs/build/pdf.mjs:19734)
Uncaught SyntaxError: await is only valid in async functions and the top level bodies of modules (from /pdfjs/web/viewer.mjs:15331)

Anyone could please help with some guidance on how to deal with these 2 errors?
