Steps to reproduce

have a bunch of tabs
open tabs view
try to close a tab by hitting the X button in the top right corner of the tab

Expected behavior

the tab always closes when i touch the X button

Actual behavior

around 50% of the time, the tab i'm trying to close will activate instead.

Device: iPhone 15 pro max, iOS 17.4.1
Build version: Firefox 125.3 (41348)
