Update status for installing is stuck at the beginning, shows "Detecting, Updating and Installing GE-Proton"

Any ideas?

@Zyras82 it should update, but if not Download Proton Up QT from the discovery store, and remove and proton ge in there and then reinstall the latest one. Then run NSL again and try again.

Thankyou for the prompt reply.

I have been working on the issue myself, to some little success. I managed to get Ubisoft to install, selected all the streaming apps and saw that it was looking for Chrome for one of them so i uninstalled and fresh installed chrome...

Whilst it has not fixed it, i got a new icon for "Disneys Planes" that turned out to be Disney+ (insert confused face here). Unfortunately no joy as of yet in getting Netflix or Amazon or the other streaming services to appear.

I shall attempt it again from my home and see if a broadband connection makes any difference (my hotspot is strong, but there have been a few issues with the local mast as of late).

If nothing else, it is keeping me occupied on an otherwise very boring nightshift.

Can confirm that Netflix does work. Thankyou.

Apologies for the delay in response, past 3 days turned "eventful"
😒
