[Bug]: wrong chat order in left panel or column

What happened?

Not always but frequently enough that I am now filing this issue, the order of chats goes into unexpected order.

Currently

Sometimes when selecting a chat from the left panel, the chat is moved to the top position without adding any interaction.

Expected

Since the left panel is sorted from new to old (excluding pinned chats) the order should follow that logic.

Anything else?

In the following screenshot the conversation with "B" is older than the chats listed below. The chat with "B" was first correctly displayed below the newer chats. But after selecting that chat it moved to the first position. This is unexpected behavior.
