0.18.1 release.......?

一応私の方でMonacoinの0.18.1のベースを作成しようと考えていますが、いくつか質問があります。

・そもそも誰か作成中ですか？
・書き換え用のツール等ありますか？（具体的にはこの辺り)
・今リリースの権限を持ってるのは @xwatanabek ですか？ @cryptcoin-junkey ですか？

I'm thinking of creating 0.18.1(Monacoin) on my own, but I have a few questions.

・Do you have any tools for rewriting? (More specifically, around here.)

Hello, recent a few months I was really swamped. Finally, I'm back.
First of the all, I rebased commits on master-0.17 onto litecoin/0.18. See #72

1人で作り切ってしまうと今までと変わらないかなと思います。

Agree. It's better to share how to upgrade tree with git rebase --onto.
I'll write some documents later (on Qiita or somewhere... Spotlight.soy is good for Ctypto-guys? :)

@wakiyamap In current, @cryptcoin-junkey and @tcejorpniocanom are assign as 'Owner'.
I suppose 'Owner' is too strong to share all developers.
IMO, permissions (includes 'Release') should be resolved by 'Teams' function on GitHub. I'm going to take on it.

I merged #72. It's a new phase deciding "how to release it."

IMO, 0.17 is kept as an official release, and 0.18 is released as a technical preview and no official executable binary.
Since there is no critical issue in 0.17.

Are there any important features for implementing LightningNetwork or something in 0.18.x ? @wakiyamap

There are no major changes to lightning or monad in 0.18 itself. If I had to say, I'd say maxfeerate.
This is something that needs to be changed when peer communication including maxfeerate is required, and there is no problem with 0.17.
However, it is expected that modifications will be made to psbt, taproot addresses, etc., and I would like to target 0.21 (bitcoin) for the binary release itself.
I understand that your thinking is maintenance over development.
I think that's what people are expecting from Monacoin.

0.18自体にlightningやmonadにかかわる大きな変更はありません。しいて言うならmaxfeerateです。
ただしこれはmaxfeerateを含むpeer通信が必要な場合にmonad等の互換ノード側に変更が必要な物で0.17で問題はありません。
しかしながら今後psbtやtaprootアドレス等の修正が必要と予想され、バイナリのリリース自体は0.21(bitcoin)を目標にしたいと私は考えています。
あなたの考えが開発より保守であるのは理解しています。
しかしMonacoinに期待されるのはそこではないのかと私は思っています。

I'm always excited in any new features. maxfeerate also.

At the same, Monacoin has been listed on crypto-exchanges in the world.
So we're expected to release binaries with a release engineering.
Currently I don't agree it was done.

Based on our discussion, my suggestion is:

• we'll release 0.18 as the cutting edge soon.

after we'll:

1. build a release pipeline (GitHub Actions) on 0.18.
2. prepare bitcoin 0.21 based branch here.
3. release 0.21 binaries with the release pipeline.

Just my suggestion. Your opinion?

BTW, I've not checked deeply but I heard Bitcoin core team is moving their build system to Guix.
