floating-ui version of the lib

Floating UI is the successor of react-popper and react-popper is only in maintenance mode.

Describe the solution you'd like

Have you considered creating a floating-ui version of the lib? I guess it makes sense a separate project then.
If you set it up I also can contribute some upgrade work.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Reproduce the work in our codebase without publishing it.
