Waiting too long when sending an e-mail with many recipients

Hello, can you please advise me how to find the error and remove it? I am using Modoboa version 2.2.4 in a standard installation via a standard installation script. I would say it works as it should, although there is some delay between sending and receiving, but I googled that and found that antispam is to blame. I probably wouldn't mind. But the problem is with the mass message. When an email with many recipients (about 300 people in BCC) starts to be sent through thunderbird, thunderbird establishes a connection to the server, but it takes 10-20 minutes to send the message. The message is usually sent (and correctly delivered to the recipients) after that long time. What can I set to send the message in a few seconds? When I send a message to a couple of recipients, it sends immediately.
