Amavis collation: utf8mb4_general_ci
Character set: utf8mb4
manage.py triggers modoboa-amavis.W001 check, but my ~/instance/instance/settings.py contains AMAVIS_DEFAULT_DATABASE_ENCODING = 'UTF8MB4' (neither "UTF8MB4" nor "utf8mb4" works for whatever reason).

These supposedly correct settings result in this unicode salad when opening quarantined items:

@ivdok Have you tried to manually check the encoding of the messages contained in your database?
