Hello,
After forwarding to another server that is down I get this error :
HTTP Status 500 - Connect to 172.0.12.154:4343 [/172.0.12.154] failed: Connection refused (Connection refused)

Is it possible to config the proxy move to error page in case of another server is down?

Ehh; I don't think so. Feel free to copy and hack the servlet to meet your needs. It's only one source file. Or contribute a PR.
