  • Give a unifying perspective on the topics we teach and how they come together
  • Be clearer on grading / lateness policy / other logistical aspects
  • More structured slides

in my view, it's more than using computers to model mathematics, it's ideally how computer language leverages ones abilities in this direction

so it's more than engineering which is about getting the job done (though that's always a part of it), but asking what does a modern language offer beyond functionality to make the job done more readily , more generally, perhaps even more elegantly

i like to think about literature which at the same time tells a story, but also illustrates how natural language can communicate elegantly in the hands of a master writer, and can transcend the actual time and place of events if done well
