Code Ready Containers requires significantly more resources, takes 2-10 times as long too boot, also becomes unstable. So want to keep using Minishift for as long as possible.
While helping a student try to get minishift running on their mac (Monterey) following the quickstart guide, we found many errors.
According to issue #3546 minishift is no longer being maintained.
I'm not sure what to tell the student to be able to do local development and try out OpenShift.
Looks like RedHat's Code Ready Containers is an option for this?
Is there a different recommendation?
Could we add a prominent notification and whatever new direction to the README?
