In your screencast the colour of the awesome tui and your terminal seems to be matching. In my iTerm the background colour and the colour of the awesome tui are different. If I'm correct your using iTerm right? Has this colour difference something to do with the awesome tui or something with my colour-scheme (solarized-dark) or terminal settings?

Thanks for the awesome tui btw 😄

Hi sandersantema.

Yes, I'm using the iTerm2 too. The awesome TUI uses the ANSI Black as background. (from color scheme)

But, iTerm2 allows someone can set the background color of terminal as different from imported (or set) color scheme. So, it could be different.

And my colors are slightly different each other. (Because, the colors are set as different on iTerm settings)

Of course, I think there might be a solution for using the TUI background as same to visual terminal background instead of color scheme one. But I don't know right now.

Do you know about curses well?

I'm trying to find a solution for using color of terminal setting.
