Map not aligned with navigation

Not sure if due telemetry updates, or ets2 updates and added cities, but on navigation window, the map shows smaller and offset from the actual player marker, the marker actually goes off the map image.
i am using some mods, but nothing map related unless texture mods, no extra maps besides the base game and dlc maps (no promods, no russmap, no mod maps at all).
When the attached screenshot was taken, i was driving in FARO, south area Portugal, Iberia dlc, if that helps anything to detect an issue....
Thanks in advance, hope to get an easy fix soon, even something it might be doable by me, despite my lack of understanding on most coding languages.

Hi, the repository owner stopped supporting this old version a long time ago: his answer

Alternatively, you can use my updated version. However, a newer version of the Telemetry Server is used there, so the old one will have to be deleted.
