  • VS Code Version: 1.88.1
  • OS Version: macOS Sonoma

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Change keyboard layout to Latin American from Settings
  2. Check that the Split Editor command is bound to ctrl-opt-cmd-'

With standard US layout the binding is cmd-. The latam layout defines opt-' = . So it should be opt-cmd-'.

Where is the ctrl modifier coming from?

EDIT: some clarifications: ' has scan code [Minus] and is the key right next to 0.
