CHARTICULATOR.COM shows images correctly. CHARTICULATOR Power BI does not behave correctly using same file

I can successfully create a dumbell chart on charticulator.com. The dumbells show low and high temperatures for 10 days. It's possible to map 2 icons as images to the chart so that each day displays either sunny or cloudy as required. THIS IS THE EXPECTED BEHAVIOUR

Using the same data in the Charticulator visualization in Power BI produces a different result. Only one of the image options (for a cloud day) shows up in the imaging mapping. There is no mapping showing for the sunny day. THIS IS THE PROBLEM BEHAVIOUR

Any idea why the Power BI version doesn't work as the charticulator version on the web does?

The Charticulator power bi visualization has stopped development and is closed source and based on an older version of the Charticulator web app. The main Charticulator web app has slowed down but is still open source and being contributed to and therefore will be your best bet going forward.

Thanks Gary, that's helpful. If I export the app as a custom visualization from the webapp and use it in desktop Power BI, can I then publish it in Power BI Service? Would Service be able to access the custom visualization?

I'm happy to add my voice to others to ask Microsoft to restart development and maintenance of the power BI Charticulator. To whom should I write, lobby or where can I vote?

@george-woodman It wil work. But the your custom visual will not certified and it can be issue, if in your organization only certified visuals are allowed.
