Describe the bug
We installed Recurring Integration Services app on one of our On-Prem servers to send file data to D365 instance. RIS is configured for both production and test instances.
Following screenshot shows a Dynamics Data job configured for KNTEST instance.

  1. We have verified that the Activity ID and Entity Name configured for this job matches with configuration of the same job in import jobs of D365 test instance (in Data Management section).
  2. KNTEST connections are also verified and this selection job correctly points to the KNTEST instance. Firewall settings have also been verified, there is no blockage.
  3. RIS service successfully runs every minute and it successfully moves the queued files in Input folder to Success folder. RIS also functions successfully for KNPROD instance shown in the screenshot below. It also imports files successfully for KNPROD.
  4. RIS fails to process files in KNTEST instance without any error log or error email. It does not show any success or failure for import jobs related to this job.

If connectivity, required IDs, names all match, just like the production then what other RIS configuration item is possible that would fail the job for showing results of the import job? Please note that a ticket was created with your parent organization (Microsoft) but they pointed us to you for help. Second screenshot below shows the empty import jobs

Please always use the latest version.
Confirm that you can successfully verify the connection to both instances in parameters form.
Make sure you enabled verbose logging.
There is a commented section in the RIS service config file. Uncomment this to get a detailed network activity log.
