Gitlab Support for repo/group deploy tokens to be passed at git credentials

In gitlab I want to use to the repo/group level deploy tokens for micro. Gitlab provides the ability to use different username for each deploy token but currently micro only supports access-tokens created from user preference page. It would be nice if we were able to provide username along with deploy token. I see the older docs has this ability but it works no longer.
