Hi pyphot developers:

I am one of the data editors for the AAS Journals. We are seeing pyphot mentioned in some of our submissions. Do you have a preferred citation for this package that we can recommend authors use in their reference lists?

thanks,

Sorry I missed this query. Sadly not yet 👎 I started the process but did not have the time.
I plan to submit to JOSS unless advised otherwise.

Hi, Morgan! @mfouesneau

Sorry for the interruption. I did not find your email address and hope you can see my message here.
I am now preparing the manuscript of my project and I am writing to you to ask how to cite your code properly.
Anyway, I cannot find any published paper linked with pyphot but only the zenodo doi.
Could you please tell me if the citation info of zenodo is just ok? Or, if there really exists a paper introducing pyphot?
Thanks again for making this wonderful code available! I learned a lot from your code and it really give me some inspiration.

Best.

@markliuchina, indeed there is no specific paper for pyphot (yet). The DOI and an acknowledgement is fine. Thanks for asking.
Glad this tool was useful
