Gateway:
cht-gateway version | 1.18.2

Device details:
device make | Samsung
device model | galaxy f22
can the problem be recreated on this device? Yes

App and SMS project behavior was observed on: https://dhankuta-ne.app.medicmobile.org. The same was observed on the Gorkha SMS project, so I think it is prevalent across all.

Observed behavior

When I set a password with "!" and "@" for the gateway user, I couldn't use that password to set up medic gateway in the app. Seems maybe special characters are not allowed.

Expected behavior

I would expect special characters to be useable for passwords.

Steps to recreate

  1. Setup a gateway password via web app to contain "!" or "@"
  2. Use that same gateway user and pass to set up a gateway phone's medic gateway app.
