@nealedj's work on the UI for creating tournament really is awesome. I love being able to click on multiple strategies and see the numbers go up. What if we want those numbers to go down though? Should we at a minimum include a little sentence saying 'just write the exact number if you want to' (but betterer english) or is that fairly idiot proof?

Yeah it's not a particularly good UI.

I guess some options could be:

  • A bit of text to make the sure aware that they can simply type the number
  • Implement some up/down arrows - but bigger ones than the standard type="number" ones
  • Add a little reset button next to each strategy

Yeah it's not a particularly good UI.

I am obviously an amateur because I'm playing with this going 'THIS IS AMAZING' at every click... I just removed strategies by putting 0s in and thought oh actually this is pretty obvious...

I don't know if this is actually a problem... If there's room for the reset button perhaps that's the way to go?

I don't know though, I'm genuinely stunned by how cool this is.
