Version of Kakoune

master branch

Reproducer

  1. new to open another client, (tried zellij and wezterm)
  2. focus client0 to navigate back
  3. c-z to background the kak
  4. fg to bring it back
  5. i enter insert mode

Outcome

1.<backspace> behavior like <del>
2. on-key %{info %val{key}} then <backspace> shows <del> too
3. client1 still works

Expectations

<backspace> behavior constantly
