I am currently playing pokemon firered and emerald on gpemu. However I want to transfer my progress to a legit cartridge. Unfortunately, the gpemu save files are too large and they don’t work with other emulators, so I suspect gpemu save files are save states. Can you please add the ability to extract the battery save?

The saves on GPemu are actually save states on a program called RetroArch. I made this tutorial sometime last year, and I realize this is an old issue, but here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u4lxcEPdFoU You'll need a Windows PC with admin privileges.

EDIT: You will also need a DS flash cartridge (like an R4), a Nintendo DS or DS Lite, and GBA Backup Tool.

My tutorial will only cover making the save state a 128KB VBA-M battery save file.
