Poll isn't allowing pictures or files with them?

When adding a picture to a post or a file and doing a poll within that same post, the poll gets created, but the picture is gone. Is that wanted behavior?

Would be really nice to be able to post a file and do a poll on that directly

That is, as far as I know, a limitation from Mattermost. Slash commands only send the command to the integration, i.e. Matterpoll, not any files attached to it.

Thx for the explanaition. So there's no way to directly have a file (pic, pdf, etc.) to be voted upon?

In my understanding, the answer is YES. Attaching files to thread comment of a poll is one of workaround.
