Summary

As things stand, if you forgot to add an option (e.g.: --progress) at poll creation, there's no way to course correct.

As I mentioned in #436 , if you have a multi-vote poll and forget --progress, there's no way to gauge how many users have actually voted, just the number of votes cast.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Deleting and recreating poll (which would lose existing data)

While I see the value of adding Public Add Option later, Anonymous is difficult. People trust that setting to stay its way post-creation.

I would love to see a small spec posted here before someone starts working on the ticket.

I suggest adding a button called 'Add Progress View'. This button should only be visible to the creator and only if the poll is created without a progress setting.
Additionally, it may be beneficial to remove the 'Progress' checkbox from the dialog to shorten it. The 'Progress' setting can then be set through a --progress or a new button after poll creation.

Another idea is to remove the "Progress"-setting and make "progress" the default workflow for polls.
@kaakaa @hanzei what so you think?
