Customise the base/domain of the automatically generated URLs tracked

we got this question today:

We want to change the base/domain of the automatically generated URL passed to the Matomo Tracking Server. Is there a way to change the contentBase as with the iOS SDK described in the following link?

i suppose this is a feature request in the SDK maybe?
