Inconsistent hamburger menu "Copy link to post" behaviour

• When browsing the home timeline, the "Copy link to post" button copies the local link to the post (e.g. https://myinstance.com/@user@remote.social/12345654321).
• When on any other page (tested with post page, user page, notifications page), the "Copy link to post" button copies the remote link to the post (e.g. https://remote.social/@user/12345654321).

The behaviour of this button should be consistent across pages, and ideally configurable by the user.

I'm also on Mastodon v4.2.8 and I can't reproduce that. On the Home timeline copying the link to a post gives me the same remote link as when copying it anywhere else.

I am also unable to reproduce this. Do you have more information?

I also can't reproduce it on my own instance now - wondering if it's getting into some bad state as I keep the same timeline tab open for days or weeks at a time.
