document max number of any[] parameter for hashtag timeline

Currently the docs read:

"any[]
Array of String. Return statuses that contain any of these additional tags."

I've been using this to make a multiple followed tags timeline in my client, but it doesn't seem to include all of a user's followed tags. is there a maximum allowed length to the array of tags? to test it, i took my any[] parameters and reversed them, and the resulting timeline contained different statuses.
