As discussed initially in #18, it would be interesting to set up a metadata dictionary defining concepts related to the radio sources properties.

For instance:

  • opening_angle: Radio source hollow cone half opening angle (in degree)
  • cone_width: Radio source hollow cone thickness (in degree)
  • ray_azimuth: Azimuth of the observed ray in the radio source frame (see definition somewhere :-) )
  • max_cmi_frequency: Max frequency of emission along a given field line

And then, we can use another IVOA keyword: utype to refer to this model:

  • Theta: utype = cmi:opening_angle and ucd = pos.spherical.colat
  • Azimuth: utype = cmi:ray_azimuth and ucd = pos.spherical.azi
