Hello there,

I was trying Ubuntu Touch on my Nexus 7 and I came across an app called "IsoDrive".

Basically, you DL a linux distribution to your "Download" folder. You start the app and choose the downloaded iso file, then you connect via USB to a PC (or Macbook or whatever) and boot up this device.

Now, you can boot up the iso file (linux) on your connected system!

I think this is a neat way, to work on a full fleshed out PC without the need for HDMI Adapters, BT Keyboard and Mouse. You just need to carry around one cable !

Maybe you can make this work with Maru OS, too?
Would be awesome to have another option for working with linux from the phoen or tablet, I´d say.

Any chance to make this happen?

Best Regards,

-Elo

edit: I mean this as an additional possibility

Hello.

As maruOS is based on Android, then any typical solution from android would work:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.softwarebakery.drivedroid&hl=en

Don't expect to be able to boot the linux image of maruOS that way because it is compiled for arm devices, and you're probably willing to boot on a X64 computer
