Unlike the other marp-team projects, Marpit is developed by pure JavaScript. At the time starting to develop Marpit, we could not decide to adopt TypeScript.

Marpit has an independent type definiton by .d.ts file, but it is great to generate it from original source code. In a milestone of next major version, we should consider to move to TypeScript.
