enrol users by subsection membership

Hey,

I wanted to ask if it is possible to add a functionality that allows to add all users to a course, that are subscribed to any course in a certain (sub-)section. On the moodle system I am using, sections represent faculties and institutes. The imagined functionality would allow us to have courses that include all faculty or institute members. These courses can than be used for targeted communication within these organisational structures.

PS There is another auto enrolement plugin (https://github.com/eugeneventer/moodle-enrol_auto). The functionality differs from this one, but since the names are almost the same, people could be confused. Maybe merging both plugins is a good idea?
