Feature Request: Data Point Preview

Currently, when placing a data point, the cursor is a simple crosshair. It would be useful for the cursor to be changed when in point placement mode to include a semi-transparent representation of the chosen data point for that curve - size, shape, and color corresponding to user-chosen curve property settings - so as to better place the data point on the first try without requiring follow-up adjustments. Thank you!
