Allow for overriding/disabling predefined file templates

As a user, I'd like to override a file template that's included in the plugin or disable one, for example Stateful widget:

As for overriding, that's not a problem. But how would we disable a template? One thing that comes to my mind is adding a file without any content, but I also feel like it's not a perfect solution. Maybe we could introduce a yaml config file that would specify templates?
