Guidelines for Uploaded 360 Footage #213

Here is a quick brainstorm for guidelines when contributing 360 footage. Thoughts?

Shoot Details

  • Max file size of 4GB of all footage. This should probably mean that each shot should be around 1 minute long. (For example when shooting at 2.7k 30fps, a 30 second shot is about 165MB. So with my 10 camera rig that comes out to on average 1.5GB per 30 seconds.)
  • Footage MUST have reference signal (sync point: audio slate, motion flash, or rig twist)
  • Uploaded footage should be associated with a specific chapter.

Uploading to Amazon

  • ZIP all footage (must be under 4GB)
  • Within the ZIP, please include a TXT file with the following info:
