Way to encode multiple crop cycle per season

I wonder why the specific format for multiple crop cycle per season was selected ? see example for portugal

the format is not easy to handle

I also wonder if it is the purpose of Eurocrops to map this cycle combinations ? should the project focus on identifying the crops ?

Hi Martin,

yeah, these things really gave us a hard time.
For now, we decided to just use the first crop, even though it's often not the main crop. However, if you look at the distribution of the occurrences, you'll notice that these multi-crop entries make up a super small fraction and I think they are (at least for now) not too important.

If you have a good idea of how to solve that (ideally automatically) please let me know!
