edit: Added additional note with suggestion for teh installer/uninstaller.
I tried the Nightly Build 1.77.3.nb-1784, installed as update over v1.77.2 but the new version doesn't show:
Connections: the Connections sidebar node is empty.
The Tools bar is also empty.
Additionally, the Config section in the sidebar of 1.77.3.nb-1784 is a downgrade:
You 1st select a connection (a new one, since the existing ones are not shown as per the bug described above) and then I have to
change to the Config tab to edit its properties.
It's an unnecessary sequence of additional steps: mouse clicks and displacements to tabs not previously required.
Expected Behavior
The existing saved Connections and Tools bar should show in the updated version.
Connection config details were conveniently located and visible in the same sidebar for a selected connection.
Current Behavior
As described above
Possible Solution
None with 1.77.3.nb-1784.
The older v1.77.2 installer doesn't allow to 'downgrade', so had to uninstall 1.77.3.nb-1784 and then reinstall former v1.77.2.
After reinstall, all my Connections and Tools were there (fortunately they weren't removed by v1.77.3.nb-1784 uninstall -see note below). They weren't deleted or corrupted by the new install.
Note: Additional optional checkboxes (unchecked by default) in both the installer -for allowing a clean install (removes registry entries and or profile dir settings)- and in the uninstaller -for a complete uninstall, removing user settings and saved connections- is recommended.

MRemoteNG .msi update install over previous version.

The Auto-Hiding configuration pane can be changed by selecting the pin icon to the top right. But generally I think you are running into the issue (feature) that the nightly build version 1.77.3-nb does not save anything as described in various different issues (e.g. #2245). If you want persistent settings, please use version 1.77.2-nb
