Intermittently selected window will not focus after window list dissappears

Describe the bug
Something that I've noticed from the last few updates is that when I pull up the AltTab window list and click on a window that I'd like to focus, the list will disappear normally, but the window will not be focused. If I perform the exact same action again, things will work. Its almost as if AltTab doesn't recognize my first mouse click, but I know that it did because the window list went away. It's just that the same window that had focus before I "AltTabbed" retains focus.

This does not happen everytime, but it happens frequently enough to be very annoying. I've been using AltTab for years, and its always been rock solid, so I'm very familiar with its functionality.

Steps to reproduce the bug

Open the AltTab list of ALL applications. Click an item that you'd like to focus on. Occasionally, it will not focus when the window list goes away.

Your environment

• AltTab version: 6.61.0 (but this started maybe 2 or 3 updates ago)
• macOS version: 13.5.2
• Other relevant info: On an M1 macbook pro using a single external montor via thunderbolt->Displayport. I've also got external KB and Mouse connected via the same TB4 hub. (the TB hub is new, and this problem happened before I got it)

I've also got Magnet and SaneSideButtons 1.1.0 running.

Hi,

I don't see a change in the past 2-3 updates which could be suspect of being involved with your issue.

I'm afraid that with the current level of information, nothing can be done to fix things. If your setup has been the same for years, I expect a change wouldn't happen.

Some apps have buggy programming and could potentially mess with AltTab's way of focusing? These tickets came to mind:

• AltTab can't focus another window if Flock.app window is focused #1663

Did you notice the issue happening with particular apps (the app could be the current active app, or the target one).
