Hello there, Luke!

Thanks again for Poison: I found it the best among the others listed within the official Hugo themes list.

I noticed that while this theme is pretty configurable overall, it is a bit limited within the front page options: as listed in the Poison docs, one can have a paginated feed of the recently added content, based on the "posts" and/or other chosen categories (an example from your own website).
While this is a cool idea, I see other options for the main page. For instance, for my blog, I'd prefer having "/posts"-like Fron Page (I mean this page) with, maybe, some div with a short welcome message on top. Basically, my idea is inspired by the Julia Evans blog front page: https://jvns.ca/

Therefore, I'm wondering if that's something you can see as a potential room for improvement as well.
Please, let me know, and if yes, I can try to implement something like this as a non-breaking change (meaning, an alternative non-default option for the front page).

Have fun!

Hi, @n0rdy -- thank you for your interest in the theme!

Yes, I do see some room for improvement in that area, and believe others could benefit from the added flexibility. If you want to throw together a PR, please go for it! I appreciate your work so far on the theme.

Thanks again!

Hey! Thanks for the reply and for being open-minded =)
This one is on me, I'm still considering the options on how I see it
