Good day,

I have an idea what else you could program:

If the user forgets his own AD username, you should be able to find out by searching by typing his first name or last name in the search.

Example (It's not real, I used to draw):

Would be cool if someone has time to create a program :D

Instead of this functions which would allow a malicious user to "browse" your directory, I'd rather have a "lost user name" function, where you input your mail address, and get a mail with your username attached.

Edit : If you really want to go with that function, please make it so it can be disabled, for publicly available versions.

That would work too! :)

You can't do that much with AD usernames if you can define certain areas

Maybe, but some of us are using this with LDAP (or FreeIPA/RedHat IDM) and our portals might be exposed on Internet, hence, the auto completion is not a "good" idea.
