Items in command palette overlap, not responsive to key presses

Describe the bug

When I press "extract text into i18n messages", it opens the command palette to select the key path to store the hardcoded string from a file, and the items are not responsive to random key strokes (e.g. enter press doesn't do anything, tab doesn't autocomplete on a path that actually exists), as well as it messes up the command palette visually by overlapping items, see screenshot

To Reproduce
I'm currently investigating how to reproduce, couldn't do it yet (basically it's just this way when I use the extension). It even messes up the editor command palette with the same effect (eg. cmd + shift + P, and when I disable the plugin the editor command palette is fixed. That's why I strongly assume this plugin causes the issue)
