Hi, thank you for building this extension. I've been trying to use this extension on multiple sites, but it seems to have zero affect on the content of the pages. I don't know if I'm using it incorrectly, or if I'm just expecting it to do something it is not meant to do.

From the readme, I read about these two permissions. Is there a recommended way to verify and change these permissions?

* The extensions needs permissions to intercept and alter web traffic for the Accept-Language feature to work.
* Access to tabs to load the client script in order to change navigator properties.

Could you also share an example webpage you use this extension with, either by video or before & after screenshots as to what the user should expect?

Here is what I'm seeing with Chrome Version 103.0.5060.114 (Official Build) (x86_64):

Good idea. I'll make one as soon as i find time.

For the mean time here are some websites that honor user language attribute/headers.

  1. Open a private tab (not strictly necessary)
  2. Go to the website
  3. Select a new language (I tried with german)
  4. locale-switcher will reload the page and have different language.

That's lovely. I can see it working nicely on Wikipedia and DuckDuckGo. 👍

So funny (but sad) that using it on a site like Weglot, which is all about website translation, didn't work. 😂

I'll open it again so I don't forget to do a screencap and maybe a chapter on website where one test it :)

Lol yes xD they don't even seem to offer another language 😆
