I get the following notice using the latest Firefox Developer Edition browser:

You are using an old incompatible version of the command-line tool.

Please run the following command to update your command-line tool:
gem update livereload

The same local site works in normal Firefox, so I assume that Firefox Developer Edition just isn't supported?

Also, #36 isn't the same issue. I tried disabling multi-processes and that didn't fix it.

Seems like the current version (2.1.1) is already at AMO. So I think this issue could be closed.

The AMO extension warns that it's deprecated and advises to install from the developer site where the extension won't work... Should this deprecation warning just be removed and the site upated to point to AMO again?
