Still happening cinnamon 3.8.9 |
@clefebvre Please, can you assigne someone to solve this bug? |
@JohnD28 are you still experiencing this issue? |
I can't test it any more. Is it an easy way to simulate a long list of available Wi-Fi networks? |
@JohnD28 should be easy to simulate a long list. I'll test it out tonight. Thanks. |
@JohnD28 I was able to create a long list and did notice that the More section does become scrollable. I also saw what everyone else is referencing about the issue of the network list becoming too long. |
Still happening on Cinnamon 4.6.7. I do not remember it being an issue with Mint 19.3 / Cinnamon 4.4. Maybe the network manager's output has changed between versions 1.10 and 1.22 and the list of available networks that is reported by NetworkManager is bigger. |
After some time connected to a WiFi network,
the "More" section of the network applet becomes empty.
The list of available networks get too long for the screen, cannot be collapsed, and has no scroll bar.
You have to click the "Network settings" menu entry, and deactivate and reactivate Wifi to make the applet work properly again.
I've attached two screenshots, one with the proper behaviour, and another with the applet after the bug happens.
