Extension version/Build date

1.4

Cinnamon version

6.0.1

Distribution

LMDE 6 Faye

Graphics hardware and driver used

NVIDIA GTX 1080Ti w/ proprietary 525.147.05 driver

Extension name and maintainer

smart-panel@mohammad-sn @mohammad-sn

What happened?

Whenever the screen locks due to inactivity, none of the smart-panel functions work after unlocking returning to the desktop (I use scrolling to change workspace, double click to desktop, and middle click to expo - none of these will work).

Going to extensions and disabling then reenabling allows it to work again.

Other information

-While I am using LMDE now, I also had the exact same problem on an older version of regular Linux Mint (I think it was on a 5.13.something kernel).

-Manually locking the screen and unlocking DOESN'T create the error, all the smart panel stuff still works. It only seems to be when it naturally goes on the lock screen after a given amount of time.

-It works upon a reboot too, or logging in and logging off. Only inactivity+lockscreen breaks it.

-In the extension settings, it will still appear activated despite being broken. Disabling and reenabling makes it work again.

EDIT: On further investigation, the bug happens after the screen turns off for any reason. That includes manually turning off the screen and back on again.
