I use the https://lintalist.github.io/#filelist-plugin to select images from specific folders and a preview would be useful to have of the highlighted file in the list - perhaps other type of files as well - either Gui Picture/Edit or Gui/Activex - the browser control would also allow to preview Word and PDFs as far as I know.
