I have some snippets that I like more than others and would prefer that they be the first match. In some apps, I have the ability to flag a "favorite" which would cause the item to rise to the top regardless of sort order. Is there any way to currently do that with Lintalist? (I know I can press 1-9, but that would require the item to be always returned in the same order while any new snippet could poison that muscle-memorized hotkey.) |

Apart from Adding some additional info/unique text in part2 or shorthand might help. I often "abuse" shorthand by adding something there I won't type but can partially remember, like q5 below:
You could create a small bundle with favourites and edit the bundle txt file to set them in a specific order (be sure to close Lintalist before manually editing bundles) Give it a file name that ensures it will be loaded first (these are sorted alphabetically and then processed) - something like Now go to Restart Lintalist. I wish I knew about this repo earlier. I've only had time to scratch the surface of what's possible with this software, but it's rapidly becoming critical to some of my workflows. |
