rosserial error

i am using ubuntu20.04 and rosnoetic when i am running rosserial i get

[ERROR] [1688249682.032635]: Mismatched protocol version in packet (b's'): lost sync or rosserial_python is from different ros release than the rosserial client
[INFO] [1688249682.037691]: Protocol version of client is unrecognized, expected Rev 1 (rosserial 0.5+)

is that problem related to the ros version ??
and if yes how can i solve it ?
