Related to #245

Not sure if recent regression, but trying to enter any URL (either one that resolves to a non-RDF resource or a fake/incorrect/typoed URL) in WebID sign in field results in an error, but the user is not informed and there's an infinite spinner instead.

See screenshot of behaviour and console errors below:
