Thanks @antoine-briand for saying:

I really enjoy your tool, especially since i sometimes have to work in environments, which have no internet access. And this tool still works there! I've shared LessPass on Hackernews, it's currently on the front page and there's a good discussion going on: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=12889807 |

👍 ❤️ Great tooling to fight the password mess! Thanks for that! |
Good Luck |
Hey there. HD Key management is something I've been waiting for. Looking forward to contributing |
@allanjude covered LessPass and the (in)security aspect of it in the latest TechSNAP podcast: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqJn3wcOkY4 |
I wouldn't say insecurities, so much as just design limitations |
<3 Thanks for this great work !! |
I guess I should comment on this finally. LessPass is amazing and I very much appreciate the work you are doing. I originally heard about you from TechSNAP and they gave you a real hard time about password generation. But you've fixed that along with a few other concerns they had. I don't know if they've noticed (they haven't done a follow-up), but I certainly have and I've begun recommending this project to my co-workers and even did a mini brown-bag during our team meeting about it. Keep up the great work! |
I use LessPass on a daily basis for a few months now and I can't live without it. |
LessPass is the kind of innovation the tech industry needs. Solutions should be simpler rather than more complex! ❤️ |

Been using this project for new accounts I've been creating during the last few weeks. Somehow it feels more safe to use than other solutions that actually store your credentials. Very excited to see what the future brings for lesspass! |
I have troubles with passwords for decades:
LessPass is exactly what I needed I can finally sleep well now. Thank you so much. ❤️ |
thanks a lot |
this is a truly momentous implementation of the crypto password method. keep up the good work! |
@roipoussiere has already stated what I think, so I'll make it quick: Thank you for your efforts in making password management and/or creation easy and secure! |
❤️ you guys are great |

Before deciding to start using LessPass I read some discussions about it on Reddit and Hacker News, to see if someone there had pointed any issue I hadn't seen that could be present on LessPass. I only found dozens of rants from people saying the LessPass passwords were insecure, they didn't allow change of the master password and other small things. People like those who complained are stupid enough to think they're doing a good job demoting amazingly good and simple at the same time like LessPass while promoting KeyPass-style solutions that are "much safer" but at the same time no one will use, between their rant and "password123" solutions, every sane person will obviously choose the second. But LessPass is the right choice. |
really enjoy this tool, can I make one-time contribution? |
Hello @denfromufa, |
Love it ❤️ thank you so much! I've added LessPass to my stack on StackShare, spread the world! |
A useful and innovative project with a great community behind it! Thank you. |
Hello ! I really like the lastpass idea. I saw on your website :
I am a scientist, i may be able to help you. What do you have, what do you plan about this white paper ? By a quick look, there is a quite big literature about password managers. |
Absolutely love this tool! Thank you all =) |
Best password manager! ❤️ |

Really interesting and complete project with useful tools for all platforms. Bravo |
I love LessPass.. I found LessPass when I was about to plunge into writing something similar for my own personal use. I never liked the idea of a password-manager by a "company" .. Just it didn't feel right in my gut. I mean, you're literally giving them everything (yes yes, that's not how it is, but it kinda is!) Anyway, when I found lesspass, I have been obsessed. I also wrote a small script to 'call' the CLI with some UI to generate and copy my passwords so I can paste them. I couldn't even be comfortable with browser plugins :) So, thank you all for working hard and doing your job at making LessPass great. I use the CLI for my desktop and the mobile app (android) And only now (after probably using LessPass for about 1.5 years, did i realize the DB only stores the profile .. so I'm going to look into using that too .. cuz as you've written on the website, some websites are very stupid with their password requirements. But anyway, much love and thanks. https://gist.github.com/omarali-me/2a89377b60a7d062faa7c61b61cd89fd <-- script to call CLI (Linux) to pre-fill some options and lets you generate and auto-copy to clipboard the password.. you can have a hotkey assigned to call the script so any time you need to generate a password, hotkey .. enter the site's name.. usually the username will be the same and voila.. go to your website and paste.. |
love it, ty to all the contributors ❤️ |
Lots of thanks for this amazing "simple" very useful software ❤️ |
