How to get list of nearest peers connected in the DHT network?

I have gone through the source code and it seems that if we create a DHT instance using the hivemind.dht.DHT which is a high level interface, we cannot possibly get the nearest peers since it doesn't have any methods. Is there any workaround to access the nearest peers with the high level hivemind.dht.DHT instance?
